IAM is hosting a Consular Camp on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Officials from the Indian Consulate, Chicago and VFS services will be there to help to provide the following services.

NOTE: As of December 30, 2024, the Government of
India mandates that all foreign-issued documents, particularly birth
certificates for minors and marriage certificates for name changes, must
be apostilled for OCI applications. This step applies to U.S.-issued
documents. The apostille must be obtained from the Secretary of State where the
child was born/document issued, and may take upto 5 weeks. A copy of the
apostilled document should be uploaded to the application online and the
physical version should be brought to the event on June 27th for verification.
