Join us for Sadhana, Katha Dance Theatre's annual school showcase, as we celebrate a year's worth of hard work by our dedicated students! All are welcome. KDT students are educated in the Lucknow school of Kathak, the North Indian classical dance form characterized by pirouettes and rhythmic footwork. KDT is the only Kathak company and dance school in Minnesota, and it is led by a leading proponent of the art form: guru Rita Mustaphi. This performance is a low-cost opportunity to see high-quality, authentic Kathak dance following the teachings of the legendary Kathak master Pandit Birju Maharaj--Rita Mustaphi's guru.

Sadhana will take place on May 11, 2024. The show will start promptly at 4 pm and run through approximately 6:40.
